How are these Greeks not ashamed – to wake the bureaucrats in Brussels from their sweet slumber, to get on their nerves, to spoil their solitaire game.
I have bad news for the food workers of the European Union – around the world and in our country. “SYRIZA’s surprise” is only the beginning. To brace for surprises alongside Farage in England and Le Pen in France. The “United Europe” bubble, fueled by our taxes, will soon burst.
Because we are not talking about any “United Europe”. We are talking about united guarded officials, commissioners and MEPs, wallowing in unprecedented luxury, with fabulous salaries, lousy offices, countless and meaningless administration, unreported business trips, overnight stays in five-star hotels, lunches and dinners at restaurants with two or three Michelin stars…
History does not remember such nomenclature revelry. There is no higher-paid and more ineffective bureaucratic mafia than the so-called European Commission with all its subdivisions, departments, sub-departments and sub-departments. A collection of costumed chameleons who often have the audacity to wag the finger at us and teach us how to live by their principles.
Yes, the EU is a big scam, but for its civil servants. Ordinary people do not live better, their incomes fall, and along with the unification of national currencies with the euro, all their savings and properties are devalued at least twice. These are statistics, not empty talk.
SYRIZA is the first slap. The big slap is coming. And this is no longer simply about Euroscepticism or restructuring within the status quo. The whole system turns out to be vicious, and the impoverished constituencies are becoming soberly aware of it.
It is only a matter of a year or two before the SYRIZA phenomenon will be reproduced in our country. Desperate for the impotence of their party, BSP sympathizers are looking for an adequate political replacement. The fragmented assemblage of populists and nationalists will also sooner or later combine their energy in a common project.
The orphaned leftists plus the united patriots! What better social base for a party of the type of SYRIZA, which will say “no” to Euro-Atlantic shackles, to “cabinet” and “grant” democracy, to philandering and foreign pilgrimage, to observing the rights of gypsies and gays at the expense of Bulgarians and normal, and will try to resurrect the remnants of our collapsed national ideal?
