TRIBUNNEWS.COM — richest man in the world, Elon Musk is said to be investing in Indonesia.
Elon will build investment for electric cars Tesla in the Batang Industrial Area (KIB) located in Central Java.
This was revealed by the Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia.
Bahlil said that apart from Tesla, global technology company Foxconn would also invest in KIB.

“We know that Central Java will become the center of one of the best industrial areas in Indonesia, namely Batang.
There, there will be big companies like LG, Foxconnthen Tesla God willing, we will enter there, including several other companies,” he said virtually, Wednesday (18/5/2022).
“If asked when the entry (investment) Tesla), God willing, this 2022. But I can’t announce the month yet. Because we haven’t signed an agreement yet,” he continued.
There are two forms of investment that will be invested by Elon Musk as the owner or CEO of the largest electric car production company from the United States (US).

“Insha Allah, Tesla will enter Indonesia. He will enter into two major investments, the first is about the car battery ecosystem. The second is the car,” he said.
Regarding the investment value that will be deposited by Elon, Bahlil has not been able to mention. Because the agreement has not yet been signed.
