Highly anticipated, the opening of the Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education and Innovation, a new wing of the American Natural History Museum in New York, has been delayed for the last time, finally scheduled for May 4. In the making since 2014, this original extension of 22,000 m² all in curves, with the appearance of a cliff on its exterior facade and a canyon pierced with holes of natural light in its interiors (see QDA November 8, 2022) immerses visitors in the world of insects and life underground, also bringing together part of its important paleontological, zoological, archaeological and geological collections.
