The return of the hero trio: Samsung home appliances remain “unbeatable at home”

The small and big challenges of everyday life can demand a lot from you! Who wouldn’t want everyday heroes by their side? A smart, well-coordinated team helps you stay unbeatable at home, especially in your own four walls. In order to underpin this promise, Samsung has developed an extension of the marketing campaign of the same name together with the creative agency Leo Burnett. Instead of the approaching in-laws, however, in 2021 it will be the typical problems of everyday life that will pose challenges for the protagonists. Whether in the epic battle against mountains of laundry or stowing away the bulk shopping – this year too, the 360 ° campaign emphasizes how smart technologies enable a comfortable everyday life while still combining design with technology. As part of the digital campaign, the entertaining spots will be played from January 29th with a focus on social and digital channels.

Regardless of whether it is about washing clothes, properly refrigerating food or baking and cooking – those who rely on home appliances from Samsung can heroically face the challenges of the household. Because the campaign 2020, known under the campaign umbrella “Home unbeatable”, hit the bull’s eye, it will be continued this year. As in the previous year, this time too it is a 360 ° digital campaign that is played with a focus on social and digital channels such as YouTube and Instagram.

The heart of the continuation of the successful “Home unbeatable” campaign is a 30-second online spot for the Samsung QuickDriveTM washing machines. This is where “The Unbeatable” appear – a family who, together with their Samsung home appliances, master the challenges of everyday life in an exaggerated way and relive the classic hero epic in a humorous way. The quick and thorough cleaning of a mountain of laundry is like a mission that should not be underestimated, which requires teamwork that is truly cinematic. Smart technologies such as QuickDriveTM and SchaumAktivTM help everyday heroes to master these challenges not only successfully, but also in an ecologically sustainable manner. The campaign is being expanded to include a series of other videos that tell short heroic stories about refrigerators, vacuum cleaners and dryers.

Carefree through everyday life with smart technologies

Last year, Samsung was able to convince with the launch of the “Home unbeatable” campaign and cleared up the dusty image of home appliances. For the first time, the focus of the marketing strategy was not on individual product highlights, but on the holistic interplay of products from the areas of cooling, washing and installation – this year supplemented by floor care. In 2021, too, the campaign will show how Samsung home appliances will enable the challenges of everyday life to be mastered smartly and gently with exciting technologies.

“We have succeeded in further strengthening our positioning as a modern brand for a modern target group. Our new home Unbeatable campaign plays with the clichéd challenges of everyday life and shows how Samsung home appliances can help you become a hero in your own four walls, ”says Mike Henkelmann, Director Marketing Consumer Electronics at Samsung. “The campaign also underlines in a humorous way how our home appliances should bring a little more sustainability to our customers’ everyday lives – through smart features and technologies they can help save resources such as water and energy.”

With the overarching goal of advancing into the top 3 home appliance manufacturers on the German market in 2021 and reaching the young target group even better, Samsung continues with the interplay of the washing, cooling and installation product groups and the extension of the successful “Home Unbeatable” campaign also this year on the heroes of everyday life.
