Liam Gallagher, one half of the estranged brother duo who formed one of Britain’s most successful bands, has apparently confirmed rumors of a reunion of legendary rock band Oasis.
“And so Sally – and indeed everyone else – can wait – just a little longer,” writes alluding to the lyrics of the famous song’s chorus Don’t Look Back In Anger UK newspaper The Times, saying that 15 years to the week since Oasis played their last gig (in Stafford on 22 August 2009), there are rumors that one of Britain’s biggest bands could finally make a comeback.
There have been enough rumors in the past, but the wishes of millions of fans around the world remained just wishes. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher remained at loggerheads.
But Liam Gallagher himself indicated that this time everything looks different. After initial media speculation about a comeback, he responded to one of X’s social network users who shared The Times article.
“See you on the stage.” (In the original: See you down the front, editor’s note) Later, on his profile on this network, he wrote without further context: “I never liked the word EX.” He could thus be alluding to the fact that the media and fans wrote about the brothers as former members of Oasis.

So hopes are rising. The return is supposed to be spectacular not only because of how big the trenches had to be overcome, but also because of its dimensions.
According to music industry sources, Oasis will “take over” Manchester, their hometown, and London, specifically Wembley Stadium, in the summer of 2025. One of The Times’ sources suggests that the England football team’s stadium is booked for ten evenings.
If the information turns out to be true, it would mean that record in the form of eight evenings played as part of a single concert line, which was created this year at the stadium for 90,000 spectators by the American singer Taylor Swift, it will survive only one year.
In addition, there are also rumors that the famous band could play at the legendary music festival in Glastonbury.
The frosty relationship between the two brothers seems to be definitely loosening up. The band’s breakup is said to have occurred after Liam damaged one of his brother’s guitars during an argument backstage in Paris. Noel then left and Oasis ended.
Since then, the siblings have exchanged various hostile expressions. “Sad dwarf,” said Liam about Noel, for example. “I liked my mom, until she gave birth to Liam,” added Noel, who is less than six years older than the cauldron of mutual disputes.
However, before that, the band founded in 1991 reaped success after success. By 2009, she had sold 75 million records. In the UK, it reached eight number one spots on the singles chart and the same number of number one spots on the album chart. Oasis have also won several prestigious awards – seven times NME Awards, six times Q Awards, four times MTV Europe Music Awards and six times Brit Awards.
