After an absence of nearly 15 years, Sudanese director Saeed Hamed returned to cinema once again as a director through the movie “Marai Al Primo”. The star, Mohamed Heneidy, confirmed that Hamed is behind the return of the spirit to the Egyptian cinema, as they returned to work together after 18 years had passed since they presented together “Oh, I, My Aunt,” which achieved great success.
And the movie “Marai Al-Primo” was able to achieve high daily revenues in Egyptian theaters, to top the list of films.

Hamed said in exclusive statements to Al-Arabiya.net: “The film is a light family, which all family members can watch, and we were trying to reach the audience between the ages of 38 and 45 years, and we studied the work a lot during preparation for it in order to satisfy people, and I hope that with these revenues we have We managed to achieve our goal, and we hope that the work will be liked by more viewers.”
And about his return to cooperate again with the star Heneidy, Hamed expressed his great happiness at his return to the cinema screen after years of absence with the artist Heneidy and the film’s team, and said: “I am happy to return to work with Heneidy again, I love working with him, and when Heneidy becomes the producer as well.” Cooperation is greater, and work becomes comfortable and has a special taste.
He added, “I was pleased to cooperate with the film’s team, which took 4 years to prepare, and the filming atmosphere was dominated by love, understanding and respect.”
Hamed talked about the difference that happened to Heneidy since the last film that brought them together, and explained that Heneidy has become more mature and able to embody the character in a different way and vision from his beginnings in the cinema, and he has become more accommodating to roles and situations with his distinction of quick wit, stressing that the experiences that Heneidy has obtained over the years The latter was very important.
Regarding the idea of changing comedy during the past years, Hamed commented: “Comedy has witnessed development and difference in cinema during the recent period, especially with the emergence of new terms and ideas.”
And he continued: “Comedy, the secret of its success is the director and the script, and it is not a requirement that the hero be a comic star, which is what Fateen Abdel-Wahhab did when he assigned the championship to Omar Sharif in the movie “Rumor of Love”, and it was a new area for Sharif, and the experience achieved great success at that time.
Regarding his association with directing comedies only, Hamed added: “This matter did not bother me, and it did not oppress me either. It was a great success, and after him came “The One Who Bali Bali”, and the rest of Muhammad Saad’s films so that they could take advantage of the success of “The Lemby”, until the audience stopped watching Saad.
