Queues of kilometers are recorded on the National Highway of Athens – Corinth as the return of the Easter excursions peaks.
In particular, vehicles move at very low speeds from the Isthmus toll road to Agioi Theodorou, while long delays are observed at the height of Kinetta and Megara.
On the contrary, traffic on the Athens-Lamia National Road is running smoothly, according to the Traffic Police.
According to the traffic data, from 6 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon, 76,858 vehicles have returned to Attica via the Athens-Corinth and Athens-Lamia National Roads.
Specifically, 44,200 passed through the entry stream at the Elefsina toll and 32,658 from the Afidna toll.
It is reminded that until 23:00 today a ban on the movement of lorries with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons applies to the entrance stream.

The Traffic Police estimate that as time passes, the traffic will increase and is expected to ease up late in the evening. According to the traffic data, from 6 am yesterday to 6 am today, a total of 112,975 cars passed through both national networks (65,756 from Athens-Corinth and 47,219 from Athens-Lamia). Additionally, from 6 am today to 12 noon, 15,985 vehicles returned to Attica via Athens-Corinth and 7,926 from Athens-Lamia.

The traffic on the N. Malgara toll road on the PATHE highway is very high, as earlier three vehicles collided at the point (in the direction of Thessaloniki) with only material damage. Cars moved to the edge of the roadway.
