The jury results of the second Nicosia Photomarathon Photography Competition, organized in cooperation with Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) and Yıltan Taşçı Academy, have been announced.
While 23 photographers participated in the competition, which was organized with the aim of documenting and promoting Nicosia and developing the art of photography, and reflecting the cultural values, historical and touristic places, city texture and life within the borders of NTM through the eyes of the photographer, with a total of 115 photographs, the jury gathered on September 12 determined the winners. Evaluating 115 photographs in the free-colour category, where the subject was Nicosia, the selection committee consisting of Nilgün Güney, Emel Sefer and Mehmet Türkelman announced the winner and the exhibition areas. LTB President Mehmet Harmancı also visited the selection committee jury and wished them success in their work.

A total of 30 works, including award winners, were deemed worthy of exhibition. The award ceremony and exhibition opening of the competition will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 19.00 at the Central Nicosia Exhibition Hall.
