LONDON – According to a work by Public Health England (Phe) on cases of reinfection from the Coronavirus, immunity to the virus might just last 5 months and, furthermore, people with antibodies can still carry and transmit the covid. The research, published in the Daily Mirror, involved 6,614 people and it was determined that antibodies from past infections provide 83% protection against reinfection, for at least 5 months. According to the study, therefore, the infected of the first wave are now vulnerable again.

Galli furious from Gruber: “Why vaccinate those who have recovered from the covid?”
“Those who have already had the virus are not safe”
He talked about research Susan Hopkins, head of the Siren study: “This study has given us the clearest picture to date of the nature of antibody protection against Covid-19, but it is critical that people do not misunderstand these early results. We now know that most of those who have had the virus and have developed antibodies, they are protected from reinfection, but this is not global and we do not yet know how long the protection lasts. Basically, we believe that people may still be able to transmit the virus. This means that even if you believe you have already had the disease and to be protected, you can be reassured that it is highly unlikely that you will develop serious infections, but there is still a risk that you can catch an infection and pass it on to others.
