Kuwait City: The restaurant opens atop Kuwait’s main attraction, the Liberation Tower. The Liberation Tower in the capital city is one of Kuwait’s national icons. The Ministry of Communication informed that the tender process is in progress.
The restaurant will be prepared on an international standard and will be given on a 10-year lease. This 372 meter tall tower is under the Ministry of Telecommunication. Construction of the building, which began as the Telecommunication Tower, was heavily damaged during the 1990 invasion of Iraq. Later, when the construction was completed, the name Liberation Tower was given to commemorate the liberation. It was inaugurated in March 1996 by former Emir Sheikh Jabir Al Ahmad.
