West Java — The current government has paid great attention to providing protection to children, legally this commitment is demonstrated by the issuance of Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2021 concerning Child Protection.
The issuance of this Perda must be immediately followed up with various programs and actions. However, at the current level, implementation programs must respond to factual conditions.
The latest factual condition, one of the areas in West Java, namely Garut Regency, was declared an outbreak for diphtheria cases by the Ministry of Health.
It is hoped that this incident will not occur in other areas. For all regions, they must maximize health services for children from an early age.

This was revealed by Member of the United Gerindra Party Fraction of the West Java DPRD Electoral District of Bekasi Regency, H. Syahrir, SE, M.Ipol, in a recent statement to the media.
Syahrir, in his statement said that at the age of children, all services including health must be optimized.
Because the age of the child is the age of growth. During this period, facilities to support children’s health must be implemented optimally, such as immunization and nutrition facilitation and the environment where children interact must be comfortable for the growth and development of children, such as the environment where and schools meet healthy requirements.
According to Syahrir, the diphtheria outbreak must be evaluated as to what caused it considering that from the reports received 7 people died and 55 people tested positive for diphtheria.

Of these, it is also necessary to evaluate, victims of diphtheria are susceptible to any group. With this map, of course, you can make different treatment patterns between groups of children or groups of adults.
