NEW YORK, KOMPAS.com – The United Nations responded later President of Russia Vladimir Putin says it’s getting faster conflict in Ukraine ends better.
Spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric he said that the United Nations is ready to see the conflict in Ukraine resolved in accordance with the principles of international law.
“Our aim is to see an end to this conflict in accordance with the principles of international law and the UN Charter,” he said when asked to comment on Putin’s statement on Thursday (12/22/2022), quoted by Russian news agencies, TAX.

Russian President Vladimir Putin explained on Thursday that Russia’s goal of conducting military operations in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 was to end the conflict that erupted in 2014.
“We will try to ensure that everything ends, and the sooner the better, of course,” he said.
“Our goal is not to turn the wheel of military conflict, but on the contrary, to end this war,” Putin said.
Meanwhile, he reiterated that Russia has never refused to negotiate with Ukraine.
