The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine welcomes today’s adoption by the UN Human Rights Council of the resolution “Cooperation with Ukraine and assistance in the field of human rights.” Over the next two years, the body will continue to review the human rights situation at the country’s internationally recognized borders.

“Thanks to this resolution, we have kept the UN Human Rights Council’s focus on the consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine for another two years. Donetsk and Luhansk regions, ”said Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
It is worth noting that the consideration of the situation around the violation of human rights in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will take place within the framework of interactive dialogues with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
