The Residence of Niger New York at White Plains, 33 Colonial Road is not the property of Niger or the President.

It was on August 25, 2015 that the lease contract for the Niger New York residence was signed by the Permanent Mission and Mr Dong Won Suh, of Korean nationality. The residence is located at White Plains, 33 Colonial Road.

Since then, the Ambassadors Representatives of Niger who have succeeded reside there, subject to the regular payment of a monthly rent to the owner.

So, what are the fireworks of poisoning and mistrust who, through social media, circulating videos and other audios, insinuating that the said residence would belong to the President of the Republic.

This pure lie, fruit of their treacherous imagination, clearly testifies to their will to harm others because, the property of Niger, in addition to the premises of the Permanent Mission, located at 417 East 50th street, is located 5 East 80th street, New York, as everyone knows publicly and unquestionably.

What could be more normal for a President of the Republic on mission in a country to visit the premises of the Embassy or the Mission?

What could be more normal, that the Ambassador invites the President and his delegation to a lunch or a dinner at the Residence of Niger?

For those who do not know it or who pretend to ignore it, this is a well-established tradition that the President of the Republic HE Mr. Issoufou Mahamadou has kindly continued, during his mission to the United Nations.

So it is simply not reasonable to believe that when the President visits a Residence and, for example, in the video of his visit to New York in 2016, which is circulated on purpose, that Residence would belong to him.

In this case then, all the Residences in Niger that he visited would be his property.
