The main repair of 34.1 km of road III-906 through Dyulinski Prohod continues at an accelerated pace. At the moment, earthworks are being carried out on the site, and excavation works are being carried out in separate sections to remove the existing asphalt coating. Slopes and slopes are formed along the entire route in order to widen the gauge of the road.
Work is underway to relocate existing utility networks, clear trees and bushes, continue drainage work, build new culverts and repair existing ones.
The reconstruction of the section from Staro Oryahovo to Gyulovtsa started in the middle of May of this year. The road section is important for the Black Sea because it connects the regions of Varna and Burgas and is an alternative route to the Obzor Pass and the Aito Pass.
The deadline for the repair works is 540 calendar days. The investment is for nearly BGN 84 million, and the funds come from the republican budget.
At this stage, the construction and installation activities should be carried out without stopping the traffic, as the cars pass in the lane where no construction activities are carried out.
If there is a need to restrict traffic, the I-9 Staro Oryahovo – Byala – Obzor Aheloy – Burgas road will be used as a bypass route.
It is necessary for drivers to drive carefully, at an appropriate speed and strictly follow traffic signals.
The repair of the second section of the road III-906 – from the village of Gyulovtsa to the intersection with the road I-9 Sunny Beach – Burgas, is due to start shortly. The route is 31.5 km long and is entirely on the territory of the Burgas region. The term for the implementation of the construction and assembly works is also 540 calendar days.
