Flor Núñez, a talented Venezuelan actress, has had a long and successful career both in her country and in Puerto Rico and the United States. But in 2003, she lived a challenging experience when she left Venezuela to settle in Florida.

As if her move had happened yesterday, the actress remembers everything she felt at that moment: “It was very difficult to leave my mother, brothers and family, but I understood that I had to take my daughters out to offer them a better future. in a country of freedoms, like the United States, where they could also study at a university in English, which in itself would allow them a better job opportunity. By that time, the limited social, economic and educational freedom for Venezuela could already be seen.”

She says that since she settled in Florida, she has managed to maintain her passion for acting and has successfully ventured into the real estate sector, working side by side with her daughters. But, in addition, she gives acting classes, managing to spread the knowledge of her to those who start in this career.

“That facet has been very comfortable, since My profession as an actress, teacher, coach, director and producer, as the case may be, I handle them extensively. It allows me to learn more and more to be able to contribute my experience and knowledge to the replacement generation, which needs so much preparation and requires adequate professional training, in search of excellence”, he says.

He adds that he tries to give his students the love of the profession “which needs it so much, because it is also a mirror of life, it represents life itself.”

Motivate and encourage

Recently, Flor Núñez visited various cities in Venezuela to give acting master classes, where she not only transmits knowledge, as she explains, but also motivates and encourages young people to follow their passion for acting.

And it is that, despite his busy schedule, he always finds a way to carry out these classes in different places, either in Venezuela or in the United States.

“I continue to give permanent classes in Tampa and on a recurring basis I interrupt them to go to Venezuela.”

In relation to her short-term projects, Flor Núñez anticipates that she will continue to support the real estate sector through her image, although she acknowledges that her eldest daughter and her husband are the ones who really dominate this market.

On the other hand, he plans to go on a theatrical tour together with the Venezuelan actress Elba Escobar with the play Fleco y Lentejuela, which has given them many successes. Besides, is preparing a new theatrical production in Miami and intends to offer classes by Zoom to help those students who cannot access personalized lessons.

The renowned Venezuelan actress wants to convey to those who are struggling to follow their dreams, especially in a field as competitive as acting, that they should not stop fantasizing and fighting for it with love and dedication.

“I recommend that you educate yourself, read and have a vision of the world and of art in general, since learning and questioning are key to artistic creation,” he concludes.
