The renovation of the Bonaparte bridge continues in Lyon.
Major work will be undertaken on the structure this summer, requiring the total closure of automobile traffic. The axis which connects Bellecour to Saint-Jean by spanning the Saône will be closed from July 17 and until August 21.
“During this period, the circulation of motorized vehicles, including buses, will be completely prohibited. A diversion will be set up on the quays of the Saône, with possible crossing by the Kitchener bridge (direction Presqu’île towards Vieux Lyon) and the Maréchal Juin bridge (direction Vieux Lyon towards Presqu’île)“, indicates the Metropolis of Lyon.
Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.
