The warehouse of the association La RemiXerie is completing its 1st summer at 32 Chemin de l’Echut, taking over from the previous one, destroyed by fire just 7 months after its opening. A very wide choice of objects of all kinds, second-hand, in good condition and sold at low prices, await their future owner: furniture, clothing, household appliances, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, etc., begin thus a new life, thus significantly reducing their ecological footprint.
Stéphane Bonavent, president, and a small office, have invested themselves fully in this new adventure: “This new premises meets our wishes, with an interesting sales area and convertible offices upstairs. It allows us to unite our volunteers , who can meet there, share friendly moments, which is essential.We welcome all those of goodwill wishing to help us and submit ideas, in all areas: choice, storage, restoration of objects, communication, sale Together, they will share a common, human and concrete adventure. A close-knit team that invests, accompanied by motivated employees, is the key to success. We must consolidate the whole, move forward, and in the long term , also participate in the activities or animations of the City!”
In addition to the development of its team of volunteers and the number of its customers, the association hopes to reach 300 members by the end of 2023: this key number, reflecting significant support, would contribute effectively to the reputation and recognition of the association.
L’Entrepôt (32, chemin de l’Echût), remained open all summer. From Tuesday to Saturday, everyone can therefore drop off their donations of objects (of any kind, in good condition and reusable), and/or visit the premises and of course, buy, at the following times: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m.), Wednesday (9.30 a.m.-1 p.m., 2 p.m.-6 p.m.), and Saturday (10 a.m.-1 p.m., 2 p.m.-6 p.m.). At the Plein Centre, (2, passage du Lioran), La Boutique de la RemiXerie will reopen on Wednesday August 30, after the summer holidays of Sylvie, its dynamic and smiling employee.
