The migration wave out of Oslo is more than a bluff. The most recent relocation figures are also at a record high. After years of growth, the population flattens out.

Many thought the relocation boom out of Oslo was a corona phenomenon. But it has also also entered the fall.

In August this year, Aftenposten reported that the population in Oslo for the first time actually went down. By then, relocation from the city had been at a record high three quarters in a row.

Most people have experienced the phenomenon of “corona flight” and affordable housing with spacious home offices outside the city.
