Lebanese band Adonis released a video clip on YouTube for their song “I don’t have an idea”, the first song from their sixth album.
Through the song, Adonis talks about his Arab audience’s thirst to hear his upcoming new album “Hadith Al-Layl”, the sixth album in the career of the famous Lebanese band spanning more than 10 years.
Through the idea of the song, Adonis embodies the difficulties they encounter in creating and composing a musical work by filming the clip in a studio, as the band members try to record a new song, only to be surprised that a Dabke dancer the band stormed the recording venue and sifted through the rhythms of the song, and the clip was directed by Nadim Hobeika.
Adonis also mixed the words “I have no idea” with phrases inspired by timeless Arabic songs of the good weather, such as “Kifk Enta” by Fayrouz and “Anta Omri” by Umm Kulthum.
During the summer season, Adonis experienced a state of artistic rebirth with his concert tour in several Arab festivals, including the Odeon Theater in Jordan, through his participation in the International Baalbeck Festival in Lebanon and his participation in the International Festival of Carthage in Tunisia.
