Organized by the Department of Culture of the City Council of this town, all the performances will be held at 6:00 p.m. and will have a single price of 3 euros, although those who have the Children’s Cinema Pass will be able to access the performances with it.
On Saturday, December 26, the magician Raymon, specialized in magic with Rubik’s cubes, will be in charge of kicking off the cycle with his show ‘Magic to the cube’.
Despite his youth, Raymon was awarded as the best magician in Spain in his category in 2016 and has performed in events such as the International Magic Festival of Circo Price 2017. His face will be familiar to the audience, since it was Semifinalist in the television programs Pura Magia and Got Talent Spain, in which he left Risto himself with his mouth open.
On Sunday 27 it will be the turn of ‘Beauty and the Beast, the musical’, by the company La Barbarie Teatro Musical. This fun musical for the whole family to enjoy revives Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont’s French classic by adding a pinch of magic, dancing and, above all, lots of rhythm. La Barbarie Teatro Musical began its journey on stage in 2015 and its good work has led it to be a finalist in the Musical Theater Awards in 2020.
‘Aleteo’, a puppet theater and other arts, will be represented by the Salamanca company Katua & Galea on Monday, December 28. This peculiar and delicate work tells the story of Martín Palillo, a fisherman with misfortune whose destiny changes after the whisper of a bird.
According to its own creators, it is an invitation to fly with the imagination and not to set limits. The soundtrack that accompanies the characters invites relaxation and vindicates the need to take time to think and enjoy calmly.
SIRENIKAS
On Tuesday, December 29, ‘Sirenikas’, from MicrÓpera, will land in Zuera. A whole journey of exploration through the water cycle thanks to Rusalka and Katiuska, two Russian mermaids who decide to travel to the Mediterranean and will arrive in Zuera by the Ebro waterway. With the “most crazy and creative” version of the history of Hans Chrisitian Andersen, the whole family will get closer to the incredible world of opera.
Finally, another classic will put the finishing touch to this cycle of children’s theater. It will be on Wednesday, December 30, by the hand of Luna Teatro Danza, which will cover Perrault’s story in its own way: ‘Cinderella and the crystal slippers’.
Shoes, hats, dresses and puppets will accompany the two dancers who will take the stage to represent this play suitable for all audiences and which in 2012 received a special mention at the European Fair of Performing Arts for Boys and Girls.
