Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Al-Ahly defender, received a red card against Pyramids in the Egypt Cup final, which was held at Cairo International Stadium.
Al-Ahly club won the Egypt Cup for the 38th time in its history, after beating Pyramids 2-1.
The regulation revealed that each competition is independent with regard to yellow or red cards, which means that the suspension of Mohamed Abdel Moneim will be two matches in the upcoming Egypt Cup and not in the super match against Zamalek or the Egyptian League matches.

And the Al-Ahly club issued an official statement that it imposed a fine on Mohamed Abdel Moneim after being expelled in front of Pyramids in the cup final, after hitting Fakhr El-Din Ben Youssef.
