In accordance to the procedures permitted by Pope Francis, a checking committee, led by Cardinal Parolin, will coordinate the different phases of the renovation of the Swiss Guard barracks and will supervise the financing of the jobs in compliance with Vatican regulations and international obligations.

This supervisory committee is dependent at the Council of Condition of the Holy See and is personally directed by Cardinal Parolin.
The objective of the committee “is to coordinate the different phases of the renovation is effective and to keep an eye on the use of money for the definitive method by the foundations concerned in accordance with Vatican regulations and global obligations”, reads the regulation.
