He announced the involvement of the Muslim population in the construction of the church in the Burgas village of Draganovo, as well as the willingness of Christians to help in the renovation of the mosque located there.
The Consul General expressed the deep gratitude of the Turkish people to the firefighters and emergency teams, who were the first to reach the devastated areas from last year’s earthquake, which claimed thousands of lives, and assured that Turkey will always remember the invaluable help of the Bulgarians in one of the most difficult times. for them.
The regional governor and the consul general united around initiatives for the socialization and education of children from families in a difficult situation, vulnerable groups and the Roma population.
Mayors of municipalities from the Burgas region have also expressed readiness for action in implementing the campaign.
On the initiative of Prof. Neikova, the training of citizens with dual citizenship, living in both Bulgaria and Turkey, in master’s programs began. Real opportunities for partnership between universities from the two countries were discussed.
The meeting ended with a request to work towards a more intensive partnership in the common interest of both parties.
