the Region accredits the health facility of Settimo Torinese – Chivasso Today

News that could change the fate of local health care, reducing waiting lists and making new services available to citizens.

After years of waiting, the hospital of Settimo Torinese, in via Santa Cristina, has in fact been accredited by the Piedmont Region. In short, he received the authorization to exercise health care.

To announce it is Andrea Cerutti, vice president of the Lega group in the regional council.

Institutional accreditation – explains Cerutti – it is issued by the Region to authorized public or private structures, subject to their compliance with the additional qualification requirements, their functionality with respect to the regional planning guidelines and the positive verification of the activity carried out and the results achieved”.

The application to obtain accreditation had already been filed in 2016 by the sole director of the Acuzie and PostAcuzie Assistance Company who manages the facility.

Despite all the difficulties related to the period – concludes Cerutti -, Councilor Icardi and the regional offices completed the process to accredit the hospital in band A, succeeding where others had obviously failed”.

Satisfied is the mayor Elena Plate: “Today’s accreditation permanently certifies the hospital’s services at the regional level and is an important step for the consolidation of services. The aim of the municipality has always been to ensure citizens the greatest possible number of quality healthcare services: with this spirit we founded Saapa and with the same spirit we record the excellent news of regional accreditation. Everyone, starting from the Region and the ASL, must work to maintain a good range of services on Settimo and if possible improve it further“.
