MALANG, KOMPAS.com – Regent JemberFaida admitted that he was surprised by the administrative sanctions given by the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa due to being late in discussing the 2020 Regional Budget Plan.

Faida said the sanctions should apply to him and him DPRD Jember Regency. However, sanctions by the governor were only imposed on him.

The sanctions were stated in letter number 700/1713/060/2020 concerning the imposition of administrative sanctions on the Regent of Jember which was signed by Khofifah as the Governor of East Java.
