It was not a spectacle, but a worthy end to a more than decent second half. Hannover 96 won 2: 0 (1: 0) on the last match day of the 2019/20 season against the formally strong VfL Bochum – and ended the season at least in sixth place in the table.
Marvin Ducksch scored in the sixth game in a row, this time even twice. Fellow striker John Guidetti was not granted a goal in his probably last game for the Reds. His early header (3rd minute) was withdrawn after the video assistant intervened.
