A few weeks ago, Anderas Lilja left her position as assistant coach for the Redhawks SHL team. Now the club has found the replacement. Former MODO coach Pär Styf has signed a two-year contract.
– Feels a great drive to be part of this journey, which we will do together, says Styf.
– Pär has been Joakim Fagervall’s first choice in this position and therefore it feels very good that we have now finished with him. We have got a very good picture of Pär through our research and the white words we received from his former colleagues and players who had him as coach. He is good at details and developing players and it will be exciting to see what he can do in our environment in the coming seasons, says Patrik Sylvegård in a press release
Next up is Pär Styf from MODO’s organization, where he has five seasons behind him as an assistant coach, including in a coaching constellation with former Redhawks coach Björn Hellkvist. During the past season, he was also promoted to head coach for a three-month period.
– It will be very exciting and fun to come to the Redhawks. I see it as a wonderful challenge and feel a great drive to be part of this journey, which we will do together. The picture I got of the management staff is only positive. The feeling is that they have a very big drive and there I want to be involved and contribute with the commitment and will and passion that I have for hockey, says Pär Styf himself in a comment.
