Numerous international and Egyptian cinema stars walked the red carpet of the Red Sea Film Festival in its second session, which is taking place these days in Saudi Arabia.
Notable attendees included major star Hussein Fahmy and his wife, artist Yousra and artist Nelly Karim, and Indian international artist Shahrukh Khan.
The festival also honored the star, Yousra, by giving her the Al-Yousr Award. For her part, Yousra said in her speech after being honored, “I don’t know how to thank you for all this love and this beautiful moment in my life, and that I remain among artists and film lovers.
Yousra thanked her second country, Saudi Arabia, confirming that she was visiting Saudi Arabia before becoming an actress, Yousra, stressing that art and cinema are the memory of mankind and that she is proud to make part of the history of Egyptian and Arab cinema.
The second edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival witnesses some of the latest film productions, such as the world premiere of director Fahd Al-Ammari’s film “Al-Khalat +”, inspired by the series “Al-Khalat”, and the film “ A Crossroads”, by the award-winning Lebanese director Lara Saba, the world premiere of her comedy and romantic film.
