The Red Magic 8S Pro gaming smartphone will arrive next week
It will be the first smartphone with 24 GB of RAM
The manufacturer could not wait and revealed its design in a series of images
This week, the information that the first smartphones with an operating memory of a record capacity of 24 GB are on the way. Nubia, which wants to equip the forthcoming gaming smartphone Red Magic 8S Pro with such a large RAM, will probably take the lead. And since Chinese brands are known for revealing a lot of things in advance in trailers, we can get an early look at what the upcoming gaming beast will look like.
You will definitely not confuse the Red Magic 8S Pro with the competition
Since the Red Magic 8S Pro will only be an intergenerational model, Nubia will not engage in any experiments and will serve us a device that looks practically the same as the Red Magic 8 Pro – the only differences are in the inscription on the back and the appearance of the fan. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing, the Red Magic 8 Pro itself was a very original device and it wasn’t a dozen devices, so recycling doesn’t have to be a problem in this case.
The Red Magic 8S Pro will once again have the shape of a sharply cut cuboid, the front side of which will be filled almost 100 percent by the display. It will not be disturbed in any way by openings or cutouts for the selfie camera, Red Magic places it directly in the display itself. Compared to competing gaming smartphones, the Red Magic 8S Pro will appear relatively conservative – perhaps only the triggers on the side of the phone will reveal its belonging to the gaming family, and in selected variants an exposed fan with RGB lighting.
The phone should be available in two color variants – black and silver, each of which will exist with and without a visible fan. In all versions, we will find three cameras on the back, and on the straight sides there will be a headphone port, USB-C, as well as buttons including the mentioned triggers and a switch between classic and game mode.
The Red Magic 8S Pro will be unveiled next week on July 5, with the unveiling event starting at 3pm China time (9am our time).
