The second installment of the series Red Light, with Carice van Houten and Halina Reijn, attracted 936,000 viewers on Friday evening. 1.18 million people watched the first episode last week.
Figures from Stichting KijkOnderzoek show that the first episode was also watched about 400,000 times in the past week, bringing the viewership of this to 1.59 million.
Red Light is a drama series written by Esther Gerritsen and directed by Wouter Bouvijn and Anke Blondé. In the ten episodes, the story is told of three women who lose themselves and find each other in the world of prostitution and human trafficking. Besides Van Houten and Reijn, Maaike Neuville and Geert van Rampelberg also play a leading role.
The second episode of Red Light finished in tenth place on the list of the most watched programs on Friday evening.
