Portuguese football coach Jose Mourinho will serve a two-game suspension for his reaction during Tuesday’s match of the 24th round of the Italian Serie A between AS Roma and US Cremonese (1:2).

The 60-year-old Roman coach was sent off at the beginning of the second half by the head referee Marco Piccini after an argument with the fourth official.
Mourinho decided to address his grievances even after the match in the referee’s room. An official press release from Serie A states that the veteran coach faces sanctions for verbally attacking him in a provocative manner, which he repeated even after his suspension: “Furthermore, for the fact that after the end of the match he entered the referees’ dressing room and addressed the fourth referee with insulting expressions.”
The “Giallorossi” coach will miss the matches with Juventus Turin (March 5) and Sassuolo (March 12).
