Christian Horner, director of the Red Bull World Championship racing team, is out formula 1, in a controversial statement, after saying that Sebastian Viettel More reasonable than Max Verstappen, in the comparison between the two world champions.
Horner told the German news agency on Sunday: “They are two very different people. Determination is the common feature between them, but Sebastian is more rational. Max is very natural in what he does,” while Verstappen crowned the world title twice with the Red Bull team, in the last two years.
Vettel and Horner worked together in the ranks of the Red Bull team when the German driver won his four Formula 1 titles, from 2010 to 2013, before moving on to the ranks of Ferrari and then the Aston Martin team.
Horner praised the morale and determination of Vettel, who has decided to retire from Formula 1 racing at the end of the 2022 season, and said criticism of the driver’s commitment to climate activity was inappropriate.
