Under contract with RC Lens, Gaëtan Robail has not been part of the Sang et Or squad for 2 seasons. After 6 months on loan at Guingamp then 6 months at Valenciennes, the artesian striker was again loaned to VAFC for a season. The 28-year-old has been an important part of Valenciennes this season. Despite a very complicated collective season with a very disappointing 16th place in Ligue 2, Gaëtan Robail still did well with 33 appearances for 4 goals and 5 assists. While Franck Haise does not seem to be counting on the player, a departure this summer seems to be on the agenda.
