Zelensky revealed this to French broadcaster TF1 in an interview on Sunday (12/18/2022).
“The reconquest of Crimea should have started in the head of the Ukrainian people,” Zelensky said.
He has hinted that he could visit the “unoccupied” peninsula as early as 2023.
“The operation itself hasn’t started yet,” Zelensky said when asked about Kiev’s plans for Crimea.

“When it starts, you will definitely feel it,” he told TF1.
He said that he personally believed: “The reconquest of Crimea began in people’s heads, and this is very important.”
According to Zelensky, it is not enough for Kiev to repeatedly declare the peninsula part of Ukraine.
He stressed that Ukraine must be ready to take it back by force because Russia will not surrender.
