Although Karlsen is currently keeping new projects close to his chest, there are several things that have not been as secretive at all.

Those who follow the cheerful 30-year-old on Instagram have seen that she has bought, renovated and sold several apartments.
The influencer has earned good sums from make-up videos on YouTube, collaborations and projects. It has also meant that she has enough salt in her porridge, and has had the opportunity to invest in a number of properties.
In 2020, she took the plunge and bought a plot of land in her hometown of Skien for NOK 1.9 million. A long housing dispute followed, but in September last year she was able to announce that the state administrator had finally given a dispensation to start construction.
– Not as romantic
In addition, the 30-year-old owns an apartment in the center of Skien which functions as an office, as well as the home in which she lives.
Now she has also started her own jewelery brand.
– The reason why I wanted to start a jewelery brand is mainly because I myself am a big consumer of it. I wanted to make something that would last for a while, and after all, jewelery is associated with nice things. And I have neither a husband nor children, so I have the time to prioritize what I want, she says with a twinkle in her eye.

– No safety net
Although the 30-year-old speaks warmly of the project, she does not hide the fact that she has occasionally felt a lump in her stomach.
– It’s scary to throw yourself into it like that. You have no safety net. It’s time-consuming, but instructive, but I don’t think anything of assembly-line products and those who are keen to make quick money on mass-produced things. Then I want to do it myself, and make sure that there is quality at all stages.
– What has been the most surprising?
– There are insane costs associated with it and it is an extremely large amount of work. There is a whole machinery behind it that many people don’t think about, and it needs to be maintained. Is it also vulnerable in a way? I myself have chosen to invest in long-term plans and should things go badly, it will affect me personally, admits Karlsen, before adding:
– Everything I do is a reflection of me. Then it costs an awful lot to throw yourself into it – in every way. But then again, the gain from it is insanely large and then it’s worth it.
