The reception of the president at the Military Club in Sofia has begun, here’s who came (Gallery)

The official reception on the occasion of the National Day of Bulgaria, March 3, has begun. The event is hosted by President Rumen Radev. The reception is at the Central Military Club in the capital, and Radev arrived immediately after the ceremonial dawn inspection in front of the National Assembly.

Among the first guests to arrive were the chairperson of the Central Election Commission, Kamelia Neikova, and the deputy head of the CEC, Rositsa Mateva. Minutes after them, committee member Elka Stoyanova arrived.

Guests were also the head of the VMA, Gen. Ventsislav Mutafchiyski and Deputy Minister of Energy Elenko Bozhkov.

In the late afternoon, acting Prime Minister Galab Donev arrived, who earlier in the day was at the celebrations on Mount Shipka.

Shortly after him came more ministers – first of defense Dimitar Stoyanov, of agriculture Yavor Gechev and of electronic management Georgi Todorov. Minutes after them, Vice President Iliana Yotova arrived. Stoyanov arrived together with his two deputies, Teodora Genchovska and Katerina Gramatikova, and Yotova – with Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov.

BTV journalist Anton Hekimyan and the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Sofia University Daniel Valchev, who came with his wife Milena, and the new Minister of Culture Nayden Todorov were also invited.

The last to arrive was President Rumen Radev, together with Deputy Prime Ministers Asen Medzhidiev and Ivan Demerdzhiev

Before going inside through the back entrance, however, Radev stopped in front to say hello to Sergey Stanishev and his wife Monica.

Also present were the protester Archimandrite Dionysius and the former Prime Minister Reneta Injova, the journalist Irina Asyova, who was in the initiative committee for the elevation of Radev to the presidency, as well as her mother. The chief mufti, the member of the CEM, Gabriela Naplatanova, also came

Finally, the Minister of Transport Hristo Alexiev came.
