The recent rise in the price of Cleopatra cigarettes in the Egyptian market has caused a sensation among smokers, especially with a large gap with its price in the official data of the Eastern Company for smoke.

In Imbaba, the owner of a cigarette kiosk confirmed that the crisis was caused by merchants and cigarette suppliers, knowing very well that they are supposed to be sold to consumers for 24 pounds.
In the Mohandessin area, the owner of a supermarket said that he has all kinds of cigarettes, except for Cleopatra.
Between scarcity and high prices, Cleopatra’s box jumped from 24 pounds to 45 pounds in the market, an increase of 21 pounds, or 87%.
