As part of the health actions, Governor Rutilio Escandón Cadenas led the launch of the vaccination campaign for the 2022-2023 seasonal flu season, under the banner “For your well-being and that of your family, vaccinated”, thus such as the delivery of equipment and supplies that will strengthen action against dengue and other arboviruses; likewise, from “Strengthening and updating medical equipment and technology” to hemodialysis, laboratory, bronchoscopy and oral health services. All this in the municipality of Tapachula.
After starting the brigades, the president of the state stressed that these initiatives are very significant, because they represent preventive measures in the health care of Chiapas. Before winter arrives, he said, seasonal flu vaccine, such as covid-19, is one of the most effective drugs to protect people’s lives, integrity and health from these types of diseases. highly contagious.
He highlighted the actions to strengthen the fight against dengue, Zika and chikungunya, as well as the provision of modern medical equipment that will serve to improve the quality of services at the Tapachula General Hospital, the Chiapas State Cancer Center (Cecan) and the health centers of the municipalities of Tapachula, Metapa and Villa Comaltitlán, along with medical instruments for oral hygiene.
Rehabilitation of units
He stressed that the Soconusco region is transforming in terms of health, an example of this is the rehabilitation and complete high-specialty equipment in the medical units of the municipalities, the upcoming inauguration of the Tapachula Humanized Childbirth Clinic, as well as the establishment of a hemodialysis area in the Tapachula general hospital. He further explained that the incorporation of the Hemodynamics Unit is being evaluated in order to strengthen the resolutive capacity of medical services.
In this context, Escandón Cadenas highlighted the advances in the field of health, such as the conversion of more than 700 clinics and hospitals, the installation of a cold network in the 10 health districts, the installation of hemodialysis and hemodynamic units, the supply of free equipment, ambulances and drugs against hepatitis C, cancer and AIDS, and the construction of Clinics for humanized childbirth.
