Lionel Messi called having a number of reasons desperate to go to Arab Saudi despite not getting permission from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Lionel Messi is now the center of attention after his departure with his family to Saudi Arabia became controversial.

La Pulga insisted on going to Saudi after PSG lost 1-3 to Lorient in the French League, Sunday (30/4). After that Messi did not get permission from coach Christophe Galtier and the club’s sports adviser Luis Campos.

The Argentina national team captain went to Saudi because of his responsibilities as the country’s tourism ambassador.

Argentine journalist Pablo Giralt revealed the reason why Messi still flew to Saudi Arabia even though he did not get permission from the PSG coach.

“Messi has commitments with the Saudi Arabian tourism agency,” Giralt wrote.

In addition, Giralt said Lionel Messi’s plan to leave for Saudi Arabia had been delayed twice. The reason is because of PSG’s poor performance. However, Giralt did not explain PSG’s bad moment.

“Travel had to be postponed twice. He did not want to fly to Saudi because of PSG’s defeat at that time,” said Giralt.

“This is the third and last chance he has due to the high temperatures coming in the area. These plans have been scheduled,” Giralt added.

According to Pablo Giralt, this problem does not have to be controversial, moreover it is the trigger for Messi’s rift with PSG.

“This misunderstanding should not be a trigger in the Messi-PSG relationship,” said Giralt.
