Il Valencia CF recently received official confirmation from the Spanish Football Federation regarding the postponement of the LALIGA EA SPORTS match against RCD Espanyol. The match, originally scheduled for Saturday 9 November 2024 at the RCDE stadium at 18:30, has been postponed to a future date, which will be established through an agreement between the clubs involved, LALIGA and the Spanish Football Federation. This postponement comes in response to the devastating consequences of the meteorological phenomenon DANAwhich hit several areas of Spain, causing serious damage and bringing many communities to their knees.

DANA is a weather event that causes severe thunderstorms, intense winds and torrential rain, often causing floods and devastation in numerous regions. In situations like these, sport takes a back seat. Valencia CF expressed its condolences to the victims and its support to all those who are facing the difficult consequences of the disaster. The new date of the meeting will be announced soon, but for now the focus is on the rescue operations.
