The Microsoft Surface Duo does appear with a hinge like a folding phone in general, but the screen doesn’t blend together. So, the cellphone is not as attractive or sophisticated as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 folding phone.
“I have an Android Galaxy Z Fold 3. I tried something different. With this cellphone, I can use a great portable PC as well as a phone,” Bill Gates said on the Reddit platform as quoted by Sammobile.

Another reason, Samsung has established a partnership with Microsoft that allows the device to integrate well with the Windows operating system. The feature that supports this function is Link to Windows.
This feature allows PC users to run Android apps on their computers, check Gallery content, and more. Bill Gates is openly more supportive of Android than Apple’s iPhone.
