Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The loyalty of Android and iPhone cellphone users has always been an interesting topic of discussion. A recent survey also tried to see the loyalty of people in America to these two brands.
The survey was conducted by the Addictive Tips firm, which was followed by 1,000 people. Half of those who took part in the survey were Android users and the rest were iPhone users.
The researchers investigated user demographics and their influence on work life. Plus how open they are to the idea of switching to another brand.
As a result, iPhone users are far more loyal than Android users. As many as 94% of those who use the iPhone will be more loyal than Android as much as 80%, quoted from Gizmochina, Wednesday (22/3/2023).
In addition, the survey also revealed that 33% of managers tend to be iPhone users. More than half or 63% feel comfortable if their colleagues use the same brand of cellphone.
iPhone users are also reported to spend more than 15 days per year staring at the screen smartphone. However, iPhone users are not without thinking about switching to Android. Because 60% are ready to change cellphones if Twitter is removed from the App Store.
The love of iPhone users for their cellphones doesn’t end there. The survey proves there are 18% more of them each than Android users.
As many as 72% of iPhone users are also satisfied with their current cell phone. This figure is higher than Android users, which are only 66%.
According to Addictive Tips analysis, this is probably due to the design of Apple devices that pay more attention to the user experience seamless.
Many people who are already ‘addicted’ to the iOS operating system on the iPhone find it difficult to switch to Android. Conversely, Android users are easier to switch to iOS because the interface is simpler and easier to operate.
Lastly, they were also asked whether to buy smartphone of billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk. The result is 80% of iPhone and Android users will likely buy it.
