Despite the official denial of this phenomenon, it is not possible to deny its spread in secret, which prevents obtaining numbers and statistics that reveal the reality of the phenomenon that is practiced through religious, legal, medical and moral fraud, as these women practice today as a result of their financial conditions, marital disputes and illegal relationships, so it was The only option for them is a “criminal abortion”. Lebanese women may have the option of abortion (without any justified operation), at a time when economic growth rates, development indicators and the standard of living are deteriorating in Baalbek. However, displaced Syrian women enjoy, thanks to international donor associations, good financial and in-kind income, as well as health follow-up from pregnancy to postpartum, as abortions are concentrated in the camps through popular recipes, which exposes them to health risks that sometimes lead to death due to ignorance.
