Hotman Paris as a lawyer defends Venna Melinda. He said his client behaved like that because of the effects and treatment received from Ferry Irawan’s family.
Venna Melinda was said to be disappointed because when the domestic violence (KDRT) case emerged, Ferry Irawan’s family did not try to establish communication with her at all.
“As soon as this case became public, many times on behalf of the family there were press conferences which essentially seemed as if Venna’s report was not true,” Hotman Paris said at a press conference in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday (1/2/2023) .
Moreover, according to Hotman Paris, his party was also confused by Hariati’s arrival the other day.
“But after this case went viral, the mother finally came, but brought journalists. What does that mean, you know?” Hotman Paris said.
“We don’t know what to do. But what is clear is that if people have good intentions, why do they hold multiple press conferences with the media and lawyers?” he continued.
This disappointment finally made Venna Melinda determined to continue this case. He wanted Ferry Irawan to be punished for the domestic violence that occurred.
