Prepare yourself for the capital wreaks havoc in high society, as a glamorous new installment of the franchise Real Housewives Beloved has just been commissioned to be set in London. The prayers were answered in the form of a surprise announcement made during the Hayu FanFest this weekend (October 26), which saw a large number of reality TV fans flock to the capital for the first event of its kind.
The London reality TV series will be the first commissioned by Hayu and is expected to enter production in early 2025, before being released towards the end of the year. The Real Housewives of London will present the glitz and glamor of London life (*she says, typing from her mold-infested, £1,000-a-month cubicle in Clapham*), and will be produced by Monkeythe same team that is behind Made In Chelsea and of The Real Housewives of Cheshire (the only other adaptation of the show to cross the ocean).

The Real Housewives of London will mark the 30th iteration of the beloved series that originated in the Orange County in 2006. The casting process for London began, with producers looking for a team perfectly chic and shady to steer the ship of the show. Rumors have been rife since the announcement, and social media has been rife with speculation about potential cast members. The names of Sophie Habboo (former star of Made In Chelsea ), Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu (former winner of Love Island ), Lydia Millen (social media influencer) and Caroline Stanbury (current star of The Real Housewives of Dubai) have been mentioned so far.
Hendrik McDermottManaging Director of Hayu, said: “Tonight’s announcement of The Real Housewives of London is the first ever order of an original series by Hayu and another key milestone in the growth story of our entirely reality-based streaming service. It makes sense that such an iconic location in the UK – a key market for Hayu – is part of our strategy to amplify our offering with original content that best serves loyal fans. We look forward to being the exclusive home of this latest installment of the wildly popular The Real Housewives franchise.”

With a cast as experienced in the art of throwing shade as they are in partying, and a pot filled to the brim with steaming hot tea just waiting to be spilled, The Real Housewives of London prepares to take the capital by storm. And I can’t wait to be in the front row to witness it all.
The Real Housewives of London will be available to stream exclusively on Hayu in late 2025.
