Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Kuwaiti Islamic reciter and singer, Mishary Al-Afasy, has sparked interaction after a tweet he posted about Argentine player, Lionel Messi, following the Saudi national team’s exit from the World Cup of Qatar 2022, a large interaction between activists on social media.
Al-Afasy said in a tweet he posted on his official Twitter page: “Now that the Falcons are gone…all the best wishes to this legend…who we won against…who holds the Cup of the world… he deserves it.”
The artist, Ahlam Al Shamsi, responded to Al Afasy with a tweet in which he said, “No, God willing, that which conquers with God’s will and power, Glory be to Him.
Ahlam responded with a tweet, posting pictures of Saudi player, Yasser Al-Shahrani’s injury during the match between Saudi Arabia and Argentina, saying with a comment: “Sure, make it look like you forgot.
Mexico had scored the first goal of the game early in the second half through striker Henry Martin in the 47th minute, after a very flopped start for the ‘greens’. And as Saudi Arabia looked to get back into the game, Luis Chavez scored the second goal in the 52nd minute, before Salem Al-Dosari scored the only goal for Saudi Arabia in stoppage time, and with that achievement the Saudi Arabia has been called out of the tournament after its scores were frozen within three points of a historic win against Argentina at the start of its World Cup campaign.
