The PPnBM policy borne by the government has now been implemented with several conditions including a minimum local content of 60 percent and will end on December 31, 2021.
The current policy includes a 100 percent discount on PPnBM for cars with engines up to 1,500 cc, a 50 percent discount for 4×2 cars with engines up to 2,500 cc, and 25 percent for 4×4 cars with engines up to 2,500 cc.
