Mr. Suparerk Khaehanon, director of the Astronomical Academic and Communication Service Center, DR., revealed that comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) will orbit closest to the sun on Jan. 12, 2023 and will be very close to Earth during the period 1-2 February 2023, the comet is expected to have a brighter and more diffuse tail. and will continue to increase in brightness if the situation does not change This comet can be observed with the naked eye.
The best time to observe comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is when the Moon is not very bright, such as when the Moon appears in a thin crescent or on Monday (waning 15th moon) in January. Blackout Monday will be January 22, 2023, weather permitting. The sky is open and there are no clouds. It’s a good opportunity to observe. That day, the comet will be in the north. In the constellation Draco (Draco) in the northeast. in the morning before the sun rises Try looking for a celestial body that appears hazy or a “star” that isn’t as sharp as other stars. Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is a long-period comet. It orbits the sun in about 50,000 years, and was discovered in early March 2022 by the Zwicky Transient Facility’s network of wide-angle telescopes. The comet is thought to have a magnitude of 6, which is the apparent magnitude at which the human eye can begin to see objects. It is the first comet to open the era in 2023.
