The list of applicants to replace Fernando Carrillo in the Office of the Attorney General continues to grow. Among the names that could have more support are those of Gregorio Eljach, secretary of the Senate; the ex-ministers Luis Felipe Henao and Enrique Gil, the ex-magistrates Humberto Sierra Porto and Wilson Ruiz, the ex-attorney Juan Carlos Cortés, and the Minister of Justice, Margarita Cabello, is even mentioned.
The Senate, which is ultimately the one that chooses, comes a short list, with a candidate from the Supreme Court, another from the Council of State and another from President Duque.
